Leclerc sets the pace at the Red Bull Ring

Charles Leclerc was fastest in the GP3 Free Practice session at the Austrian circuit in Spielberg. Nyck de Vries and Steijn Schothorst completed the top 3.

The session started with a crash for Alesi (Trident), who had set the 2^nd fastest time between Stuvik (Trident) and Parry (Koiranen GP).

This incident caused a red flag which left 20 minutes for the drivers to improve the pole time. Fuoco went up to 2^nd for Trident before the ARTs of Leclerc, De Vries and Albon stole the top 3.

Finally, Schothorst (Campos Racing) climbed up to P3 behind Leclerc and De Vries. The top 10 was completed by Oscar Tunjo (Jenzer Motorsport), Richard Gonda (Jenzer Motorsport), Matt Parry, Nirei Fukuzumi (ART Grand Prix), Akash Nandy (Jenzer Motorsport), Alex Palou (Campos Racing) i Santino Ferrucci(Dams).
