Charles Leclerc has requested F1 fans to give him privacy and not reach out to him when he is at his home in Monaco.

Somehow the address of Ferrari’s Leclerc’s home has been leaked by F1 fans which has upset the Monegasque. In an Instagram post, he has requested the fans to give him privacy while he is at his home in Monaco, where most of the other drivers live.

Leclerc has revealed that fans are gathering downstairs and ringing his doorbell in the hope for a photo and autograph. The Monegasque is usually a jolly figure in and outside the paddock, but the increasing number of fans getting to him at his home is worrying.

He says he is more than happy to sign or pose for a photo when he is out in public or during F1 weekends, but Leclerc has requested the fans to not invade his privacy at his home. “Hey everyone,” he said in a message posted on Instagram.

“For the past few months, my home address has somehow become public, leading to people gathering beneath my apartment, ringing my doorbell, and asking for pictures and autographs. While I’m always happy to be there for you and I truly appreciate your support, please respect my privacy and refrain from coming to my house.

“I’ll make sure to stop for everyone when you see me on the streets or at the track, but I won’t be coming downstairs if you visit my home. Your support, both in person and on social media, means the world to me, but there is a boundary that should not be crossed. Happy Easter, everyone,” summed up Leclerc.
