The driver Jeremy Clarke has secured the pole for the Chevrolet Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, following an exciting competition during qualifying.
Clarke clocked a time of 1m07.904s aboard the ORECA LMP2 07 from Inter Europol Competition, a 2.459-mile circuit with 10 turns. This is the fourth pole of his career, but the first at a track known as ‘Mosport’.

GT Classification
In the GTD Pro class, Neil Verhagen from Paul Miller Racing set an exceptional lap of 1m14.382s, securing pole and demonstrating notable dominance on the Canadian track with the BMW M4 GT3 Evo.
Verhagen, who has achieved pole for the second consecutive time at the circuit, shared his excitement: “I have a special connection with this track. I love its speed and its challenge.” His pursuers, Max Esterson and Alexander Sims, qualified second and third respectively.

The Brazilian driver ‘Dudu’ Barrichello claimed pole in the GTD class with a time of 1m15.130s, despite suffering a five-minute delay in the pit area at the start of the session. Barrichello, the championship leader, expressed his happiness to share the car with Roman De Angelis on this track.
The second place went to Mason Filippi with his Corvette Z06 GT3.R, finishing 0.243s behind Barrichello. Benjamin Pedersen and Russell Ward completed the competitive placements.
