The FIA have released all the details of 24 Hours Karting of Le Mans which marks its return in 2022 after two years of absence.

After a two-year absence, the premier endurance event, the 24 Hours Karting of Le Mans, is making a comeback in 2022. Organized by the ACO, the 35th edition of the greatest classic of its kind will take place from September 22 to 25, 2022 on the International Karting Circuit of Le Mans.

The two clock towers of Le Mans are an unforgettable moment in a racing career. Once you’ve tasted it, it’s hard not to come back. Warning! we are talking here about the real 24 hours, a pure and tough competition, which takes place at the wheel of light, powerful and fast machines, the only ones capable of providing strong sensations and lasting satisfactions.

Going to the end of this 24-hour race means going to the end of yourself while sharing the emotions of a team of drivers and mechanics in the context of a raw challenge like there are hardly exists today. For this 35th edition, the organizers have concocted simple and precise rules offering the possibility for everyone to drive whatever their age, weight, equipment or budget. Thus, four groups have been formed and each offer a real chance of a podium finish:

 Group 1 (PRO 155 kg): OK, Rotax Max Evo, X30,

 Group 2: (AM 168 kg): Rotax Max Evo, X30,

 Group 3 (AM 145 kg): KA100, X30 Junior, Rotax Junior,

Group 4 (AM 160 kg): Rotax Junior, KA100.

On Friday September 23 and Saturday September 24, everyone will also be able to admire the karts that made drivers happy from 1980 to 2000, during the “Legend Kart” event, while a “SWS Rotax Sprint” event will serve race support.
