Lewis Hamilton was the fastest with Mercedes marking a lap of 1.29.607. He was followed by Nico Rosberg with a time of 1.30.059 and behind them you’ll find Sebastian Vettel with a 1.30.211 very closely followed by his teammate Mark Webber and his 1.30.220.

Behind them there’s been a mess of unusual drivers beginning with Paul Di Resta (1.30.736), Daniel Ricciardo (1.30.575), Adrian Sutil (1.30.908), Romain Grosjean (1.30.955) Kimi Raikkonen (1.30.962) and Fernando Alonso in tenth position with a 1.30.979.
It seems that we will have a very entertaining race with the two Mercedes at the top that will be pressed to the maximum by Vettel and Webber, and Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso with a classification full of problems since their cars have behaved very to a return, are expected to come from behind, going up to hopefully put themselves at the top or on podium positions.
The two McLaren, Massa, Vergne have been surprisingly left out of Q3 as other cars have gone very very strong all weekend, for example the STR and Force India’s cars. In this way the Brazilian driver and the two McLaren drivers will have a very difficult race with cars a bit uncompetitive compared to its rivals.

The trick that Fernando Alonso is expected to fight with is degradation, though the Spanish is very confident about this since with the chosen tyres the degradation is minimal. The race will start tomorrow at 13.00 local time (Silverstone), 14.00 Spanish time.
