Haas F1 Team has steered itself away from the statement its owner company released with regards to the troubles faced due to Donald Trump’s tariff debacle.

On Tuesday night, Haas Automation released a statement with the F1 team’s logo on the letterhead, sparking some discussions about the entity facing issues due to the recent global drop down after America’s president Trump’s tariff debacle.

There is a global meltdown whether it is share market and or international businesses. Haas Automation – run by Gene Haas – is one of the biggest companies dealing in machine tools. The tariff situation has hurt its business already, prompting several steps.

Not only they have limited production, they have halted hiring as well until a solution is found to the newfound situation. The Haas F1 team’s spokesperson has steered away from any effect on the sport’s team side for now by clarifying their situation.

“The statement put out by Haas Automation today with regards to tariffs and the Trump Administration does not have any impact regarding MoneyGram Haas F1 Team. It’s business as usual regarding the team and there is no change to our development plan, recruiting process and other projects,” it stated.

For now, it seems business but it remains to be how Haas or any other F1 outfit is affected in the time to come. Also, it has to be seen how the sport functions in the time considering it is a global sport, even though it is owned by American company, Liberty Media.
