Green gets victory in Sunday’s race after getting the pole and win the yesterday’s race. Ekström was second and third Molina.
Clean exit in the first meters but Ekström advanced Green, and behind of them Molina did the same with Scheider. Behind Wittmann in third corner was touched with Wickens and he went out of track.
At lap 3 Blomqvist was retired and although there are some battles, things began to stabilize a bit.
On lap 5 Paffet was retired because of a problem with the gear box and behind, Juncadella progressed and he was eighth, while ahead Green was pressing on Ekström with the help of DRS, on lap seven he made his first attempt but he couldn’t make it, although the second attempt he achieved the first position.
Jamie Green was showing his incredible superiority as he left Ekstöm out of the DRS zone quickly.
Behind, Auer was losing positions with Tambay and Tomcyzk, Glock also tried but without any progress. Behind this group was Wehrlein who had also lost many positions although he was recovering some of them advancing Auer and Di Resta.
On lap number fifteen the pit stops were beginning and the first ones who made their stops were Rockenfeller and Molina, but also came in Tambay and Wittmann. A lap later Ekström and Martin came in and two laps later Green did the same and he kept the position on Ekström.
Who led the race was Scheider followed by Mortara and Juncadella, although the German came into the pits on lap 18 but he could not overtake Molina. A lap later Mortara and Juncadella came in.
Gradually things were ordering and Juncadella won two positions, he was sixth and he was the first driver without an Audi because the top 5 are placed by Audi drivers.
Ekström was pressuring Green and Scheider was doing the same with Molina but with different results because Green answered the rhythm imposed by the Swedish and he opened gap between them while Scheider tried to pass the Spanish but he couldn’t do it.
On lap 26 Wehrlein tried to overtake Da Costa but the Portuguese touched in the second corner and the German went out along the grass, losing the position with Glock.
Molina was not only pressure by Scheider also Mortara was approaching from behind.
On lap 30 Farfus retired because of a contact in the first corner with Götz. Three laps later Wickens spent braking and he went out of the track. On the same lap, Wehrlein advanced Glock.
As Juncadella was approaching to Mortara slowly, while the first four continued in the same situation.
In the absence 10 minutes Auer went out of the track at the end of the back straight when his Mercedes made a spun and caused the exit of the safety car. The distances were nullified and gave a thrilling end to the race.
In the absence of five minutes the safety car was removed and reviving the race and Juncadella was stucking to Mortara while behind Spengler touched Tambay and the French made a spin, which balance is a fine to Canadian BMW driver.
In the last lap Juncadella was trying to overtake Mortara but the Italian opposed a titanic resistance and forced the Spanish to go to loophole.
