Welcome back to the Indycar, after one month of holidays, now it is time for the double race in Houston. First race on Saturday will be a stop start as in Toronto meanwhile the second race on Sunday will be as normal Indycar start procedure.
Power has been the fastest driver of 24 today in the first practice, he was followed by Dixon 2 tenths of second (main fighter for the title), Castroneves 3 tenths of second (leader of the championship) and Hunter Reay was fourth with 4 tenths GAP. Again Penske and Ganassi in the battle, again Power and Dixon, it will be very stressful days. The season was delayed during some time because the track was with some technical problems. Once that the technical issues were solved all the cars were driven during all the sesion. This practices in this kind of event are very important because there will be two races in the same weekend with two diferent qualyfing. A small detail can make the difference and can make you the top in the clasification or the last.
