Penske has changed names several times, most recently competing as DS Penske from 2022 to 2026. However, the March announcement about DS’s withdrawal at the end of the 2025-26 season left the team’s future up in the air.

The director of Jaguar, Ian James, also expressed his satisfaction with this new partnership, emphasizing that the entry of Fortescue Zero Racing will strengthen Jaguar’s presence on the Formula E grid and the commitment to technical innovation. With six vehicles powered by Jaguar ready to compete, the team is in a strong position to face the challenges of the new Gen4 era.
Currently, it has not yet been confirmed who will be the drivers for Fortescue after Maximilian Günther left DS Penske to join Envision, and the future of the other driver, Taylor Barnard, remains to be determined.
