The F4 Spanish Championship is pleased to announce that has reached a partnership agreement with Gedlich Racing which will move the Formula Winter Series to a new dimension.

Going alongside the GT Winter Series and the SRO licensed GT4 Winter Series, this new Formula Winter Championship will take advantage from the expertise of both parties to become a world reference in the category during the winter season.

The calendar for the 2024 season is as follows:

Round 1  08-11 February 2024 Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto (Jerez, Spain)
Round 2 15-18 February 2024  Circuit Ricardo Tormo (Valencia, Spain)
Round 3  29-03 March 2024  Motorland Aragón (Alcañiz, Spain)
Round 4 08-11 March 2024 Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya  (Montmeló, Spain)

 

Each event runs over 3 days + 1 optional day and offers the following driving times:

Thursday 3×55 min. private test (optional)
Friday 3×55 min. private test
Saturday 1×30 min. Free Practice, 1×20 min. Qualy & 1×30  min. + 1 lap Race
Sunday 1×20 min. Qualy & 2×30  min. + 1 lap Race

 

Following the same philosophy that has made the F4 Spanish Championship a world reference, the Formula Winter Series will offer the highest level of racing at a reasonable cost with a season entry fee of 15,000 €, or 18,000 € for 4 days each with the 4 optional Thursday tests included. Renowned partners and suppliers of the series will be announced shortly.

In addition, we have optimized the event mode for the new season, so that the drivers can now enjoy even more track time and even more tests”.

Both Gedlich racing and the F4 Spanish Championship are working on the championship regulations and different initiatives to offer a state-of-the-art product in Europe from February 2024. More details will follow soon.
