The FIA has shared an updated F1 entry list with the changes made to the names of Sauber and AlphaTauri for 2024 season.

Following the name changes of Sauber and AlphaTauri, the FIA has released an updated entry list for 2024 F1 season. While it is straightforward for the former, the latter has an interesting change after a new large sponsorship deal with Red Bull.

Relating to Sauber, even though they announced the name to be ‘Stake F1 Team’ during New Year, the FIA entry list still shows it as ‘Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber’. The ‘Kick Sauber’ was removed in the announcement but not from the updated entry list.

It remains to be seen if there is any change in future. As for AlphaTauri, it will now be known as ‘Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team’ after the deal with Visa. The company name though has changed to ‘Racing Bulls S.p.A’ in the updated list.

Earlier it was known as ‘Scuderia AlphaTauri S.p.A’, but now the ‘Scuderia’ name has been dropped as well which used to be associated with Toro Rosso too. Even with the Racing Bulls name, it is not clear if ‘RB’ stands for Red Bull and or Racing Bulls.
