The FIA Compliance Officer has issued a warning to Lance Stroll after apology from his end for his behaviour in Qatar GP.

After the FIA Compliance Officer sent in a letter to Aston Martin’s Stroll with regards to his behaviour and action during the Qatar GP, the Canadian has come forward and apologised for the same in a letter back to the officer on Friday.

The FIA Compliance Officer has accepted the apology and issued a warning to Stroll for his actions. The Canadian was called up for the push he gave his trainer post his Q1 exit on Friday in Qatar GP. The trainer was asking him to go towards parc ferme.

But a pissed off Stroll shoved him which was caught on the world feed. He attended the media too but did use the cuss words to show his disappointment. The FIA has reminded him about his responsibilities as a F1 driver under the Ethics Code of the sport.

The Canadian is amid a rough patch as he faces difficulties in securing good results. “We can confirm that the FIA Compliance Officer has received an apology from Lance Stroll regarding his actions during the 2023 FIA Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix,” a statement the governing body stated.

“The Compliance Officer has noted this apology and issued a written warning, reminding Lance of his responsibilities as a competitor bound by the FIA Code of Ethics and other FIA ethical and conduct guidelines set forth by the sporting regulations. The FIA maintains a zero-tolerance stance against misconduct and condemns any actions that may lead to physical harassment.”
