The FIA shares details of track limits, DRS, changes to circuit for Australian GP, as first trailer of F1 movie is released.

The first FIA Race Directors’ note from Rui Marques for 2025 F1 season has noted down the track limits to be the white edges throughout the circuit. The details of the four DRS zones are relayed as well, where the detection zone for the first two zones is 40m after Turn 6.

The activation for the first one is 130m after MS1 1 start and the second’s activation is 100m after Turn 10. The detection for third and fourth zones is 90m before Turn 13, with the activation of third being 30m after Turn 14 and activation for fourth is 30m after Turn 2.

There are host of changes also at Albert Park, which goes as –

  • Exit Turn 6/Apex Turn 7: kerb replaced by a negative kerb.
  • Gravel was brought back to the kerb at exit Turn 6/apex Turn 7.
  • Reprofile the barrier at Turn 6 on LHS.
  • Repainted pit exit line, highlighted in blue (back to 2018 configuration).
  • Exit Turn 4 blue line added behind the white line.
  • Reposition of the white line at exit Turn 10 and added a blue line.
  • Reposition of the white line at the exit 11 and added a blue line.
  • Exit turn 12 added blue line.
  • Highlight blue the safety car line 1 and 2.

As for the FIA stewards, Garry Connelly will lead the panel consisting of Dr Gerd Ennser, Enrique Bernoldi and Matthew Selly. Aside the Race Directors’ note, F1 not only released the 2025 opening title, first full length trailer of the upcoming movie was also released by the makers.
