Ferrari helps Italian civil department with financial aide for COVID-19

Ferrari has stepped in to help the Italian civil department after the Agnelli Family decided to donate money and also necessary equipment to fight COVID-19.

The Agnelli Family – one of the original founders of Fiat – along with its Companies including Ferrari has donated 10 million euros to the Italian Civil Protection Department along with the necessary equipment to help fight COVID-19.

Italy is reeling under the outbreak amid a nation-wide lockdown to combat and contain the spread of COVID-19. Deaths in the nation has only increased along with the cases, even though people have recovered as well from a deadly virus.

Ferrari were forced to halt production work at Maranello and Modena until March 27 as supply chain is getting affected. And now, the Italian manufacturer has stepped in to aide the people fighting in the front line to save as many lives as possible.

Not just monetary donation or equipment but they are helping them fleet of vehicles to distribute the basic items all across the nation. They are also helping Italy officials to understand whatever their need is and are helping to reach the hospitals.

In response to the COVID-19 emergency, the Agnelli Family and its Companies have put in place a series of measures, in coordination with the Italian Civil Protection Department, to support the Italian national health service in its care of the sick and to provide assistance to those who currently require it, or who will do so in the future.
