Lucas Di Grassi has been the fastest in the first practice session of the FIA ??Formula E in the city state of Hong Kong. Buemi and Daniel Abt completes the top3.
The first official practice began with some troles for Oliver Turvey (NEXTEV NIO) as he saw his two cars were not working at all.
Renault e.dams began leading with Sébastien Buemi, but a few minutes later Robin Frijns (Andretti Autosport) first, and Lucas Di Grassi then, got into that position.
At half point of the session, free of traffic, Felix Rosenqvist (Mahindra Racing) set the provisional fastest time with a 1:03,912 min. From there we would see a some mistakes from Daniel Abt and especially Robin Frijns that caused a red flag.
With 10 minutes remaining, Jean-Eric Vergne (Techeetah) put his car on top ahead of the two Renault e.dams. Later it was Di Grassi who took the first place, before the training period of one minute with FCY (Full-course-yellow) situation.
