In a totally unusual session, Catalan Xavier Lloveras took the first pole position of the season in the FIA Spanish Formula 4 in the circuit of Motorland Aragón.

The first qualifying session of the season has been very unusual. In the first minutes, FA Racing drivers Xavier Lloveras and Guillem Subid started leading together with Renault junior Christian Lundgaard (MP Motorsport).

But in the middle of the session, the times disappeared and the qualifying session came to an end. The organization decided to take all the cars to the parc fermé, while the teams told the drivers they did not know the results.

After a few minutes, it was known that Xavier Lloveras had made the pole position, 0.065 seconds ahead of Lundgaard.
