SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS | Lando Norris will start from first position in the grid in both Formula Renault 2.0 NEC in Spa-Francorchamps. The british imposed in a wet session in which he made it into both poles with a huge advantage over his competitors. Troitskiy and Fenestraz will be the ones starting next to him.
Spa-Francorchamps woke up again wet. Two red flags were shown due to this during first qualifying session and two more during the second, having both to be finished before scheduled time.
First interruption was because of an incident on Peccenini (TS Corse) in second sector. Second, when 6 minutes to go, Bruno Baptista (Fortec Motorsports) went onto the barrier on Eau Rouge. Due to scheduled times session was ended and Norris (Josef Kaufmann Racing), who was fastest for a second and a half over Troitskiy (Fortec Motorsports), was on pole over the Russian. In second session track conditions slightly improved, but another two flags could not be avoided. Both in first sector, being De Sadeleer (Tech 1 Racing) the first and Will Palmer (R-ace GP) second in an accident in Eau Rouge. This supposed, again, pole for Lando Norris, who signs double. Fenestraz (Tech 1 Racing), Allen (JD Motorsport) and Defourny complete two first lines of the grid.
