Dion Gowda, an 18-year-old Indian driver, has announced his entry into the FIA Formula 3 Championship next season with the new LN4 Fusion team, founded by renowned driver Lando Norris.

After two years competing in Formula 4 and two more in Formula Regional, Gowda joins the high-level competition supporting Formula 1. His career includes a fourth place in the British F4 championship, as well as a 25th position in the US championship with Carlin. He later joined Prema, where he competed in several programs in 2024, standing out with two podium appearances in the Italian Formula 4.

In recent years, he has been part of the Van Amersfoort Racing expedition in the European Formula Regional championship, finishing 12th and 20th in two seasons, with a fourth place as his best result this year. Additionally, Gowda participated in two tests of GB3 in 2025.

Gowda has expressed his excitement about joining FIA F3: “I am very excited to join LN4 Fusion for the FIA F3 Championship next year. Racing in FIA F3 is a dream come true, and I am grateful for this opportunity. There are incredible people in the team, and I can’t wait to get started!”

The CEO of LN4 Fusion, Dan Richards, added that they are thrilled to have Gowda on the team and hope he grows as a competitor. “He has shown promising pace this season in Formula Regional, and we believe there is a lot of potential for further improvement,” Richards stated.

Gowda will share the team with other drivers such as Gabriel Gomez and James Egozi, marking the start of a new chapter in his career in Formula 3.
