The Dutch young driver of McLaren Junior Team, Nyck de Vries wins the second race of the Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS in Imola, Italy. Accompanied in the podium with Bruno Bonifacio and Simon Gachet, like the yesterday race.

Today the starting grid was like the race results of yesterday. De Vries (Koiranen GP) at the start maintains the first position, in a clean start. But Bonifacio (Prema Powerteam) at the end of the first lap went off and lose his second position with a benefit of Gachet (Arta Engineering). In the same corner where the Italian went off, Larionov (Koiranen GP) have to retire of the race due to a contact with other driver. One lap later, Charles Leclerc (Fortec Motorsports), de Sadeleer (Tech 1 Racing) and Gonfiantini (TS Corse) had been retiring for a contact at first turn as well.

At lap 6 of the race, after 10 minutes of the start, Bonifacio overtook Gachet in the same point where he went off, and he got the second place.

The Top 10 positions didn’t change more, and the leader of the race with his Koiranen GP car increases the gap and gets the victory, closing a perfect weekend and leading the championship like a iron hand in a velvet glove.

Top 10: De Vries, Bonifacio, Gachet, Aitiken, Villemi, Morris, Tang, Olsen, Russell, Hubert.
