Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports has officially announced its return to the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for the 2027 season, with two entries in the Grand Touring Daytona Pro (GTD Pro) category and no changes in its driver lineup.
The drivers maintain their pairs for the fourth consecutive year. Tommy Milner and Nicky Catsburg will continue at the wheel of the #4 Corvette Z06 GT3.R, while their long-term teammates, Antonio Garcia and Alexander Sims, will continue co-driving the #3 Corvette.
Ben Bode, the team manager, highlighted the pride they feel for the achievements made since the birth of Corvette Racing. He expressed that the continuity of the same drivers generates great anticipation and confidence for the upcoming year, with the goal of winning the GTD Pro championship.
The 2027 season will mark the 19th year of Garcia with the team and the 17th for Milner, who joined as a factory driver in 2009 and 2011 respectively. Catsburg has expanded his collaboration as an endurance driver to a full-time position in the IMSA after winning class titles in the FIA WEC and Le Mans in 2023, while Sims returned for a second massive time after an IMSA GTP title in 2023.
This announcement comes after Chevrolet secured its second consecutive championship as a manufacturer in the GTD PRO category at the Motul Petit Le Mans, totaling 16 manufacturer titles since 1999 and 6 IMSA GT titles since 2014.
However, the fight for the 2026 title was complicated. The #4 entry finished the season as a championship contender, but contact in the final stage of the race relegated them to third place in the final standings.
Milner commented on the positives of the season, highlighting the first place in the manufacturers’ championship and both cars’ competitiveness throughout the year. He expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance and his desire to improve to face the next season with the intention of fighting for the championship.
