Cleetus McFarland, known as Garrett Mitchell, is preparing for his second participation in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series (NOAPS). Following a first experience at Rockingham Speedway, where he drove the Chevrolet No. 33 from Richard Childress Racing, McFarland will look to improve his results at the Nashville race scheduled for May 30.

Despite starting in 35th position and finishing in 32nd during his debut, McFarland showed his determination by completing the race despite several incidents on the track. Initially, he had planned to compete at Talladega, but NASCAR did not grant him the necessary approval to do so on the larger tracks.

The Nashville circuit, a D-shaped oval of 1.330 miles, will host the upcoming race, and the driver will continue to receive support from Tommy’s Express Car Wash. This will be one of the highlighted events for McFarland, who has already tasted NASCAR competitions, including his participation in the Craftsman Truck Series and the ARCA Menards Series.

Recently, McFarland experienced another setback at ARCA Kansas, where he suffered a motor failure while inside the top 10. With the Nashville race on the horizon, fans are eagerly looking forward to seeing if he can turn his previous experiences into success.
