Chase Briscoe, driver of Joe Gibbs Racing, has officially entered the world of Sprint Car ownership with the purchase of Brent Marks Racing, now known as Chase Briscoe Racing in the High Limit Sprint Car Series.
After two years competing in the NASCAR Cup Series, Briscoe, who comes from a non-winged Sprint Car background, has demonstrated his support for this discipline as a team owner. In turn, Brent Marks has struggled to balance his career as a driver with managing a family team that has achieved notable successes, including victories at the Kings Royal in 2022 and the Historical Big One at Eldora.

Marks, who initially thought Briscoe’s proposal was a joke, was able to see the seriousness of the new owner and decided it was the right time to sell the team. “I am excited to be able to relieve myself of this burden and focus more on my career as a driver,” said Marks.
