After the news where Juncadella was set to be reserve driver for Mahindra Racing on it’s Formula E team, yerterday it was known in a video from Carmen Jordà’s Instagram account that the spaniard will have his very first real experience with a Formula E car. Despite there isn’t any confirmation, it will be for sure on the test that will take place after Mexico ePrix race.
It is, so, a new category to add to the collection for the former development driver for Renault. Carmen was clearly slower than Dani Juncadella and the 6 seconds between them evidences that. This not something to be proud of, and obviusly, she will have to improve if she want that someone can be interesting on having hwer in a oficial car inside the electric championship.
The test will take place after the race on the mexican track that will took place on next weekend, located between the two days of testing in Fórmula 1 at Circuit de Barcelona-Cataluña. Being a permanent track and not a urban one, it’s an amazing oportunity to celebrate this test and not coming back to the factories and test on the simulators.
