During his four-day stay in Sardinia, Albon decided to try e-foiling, an activity that involves surfing on an electric board with a hydrofoil. There, he was surprised to see a competitor speeding by next to him. This rival turned out to be the world champion, Verstappen.
“I was learning to e-foil and saw a guy passing me at full speed,” Albon recounted. “He was sitting at the edge of the board, with his legs almost hanging off the front, and he looked totally relaxed.
