JOSEF KAUFMANN RACING and Louis DELETRAZ will continue their successful cooperation in Formula Renault 2.0 also in 2015. DELETRAZ will compete in the full double program of EUROCUP and NEC.

Press Release

17 year old Swiss Louis Deletraz, who became Vice-Champion in 2014 Formula Renault 2.0 NEC with one victory and five podium finishes throughout the season, is taking the next step into Formula Renault 2.0 EUROCUP this year. Based on the results of last year, expectations for this year’s Formula Renault 2.0 EUROCUP and NEC Championship are understandably high. A well organised winter and the upcoming pre-season testing programm should generate the results which are both, team and driver, aiming for.

Josef Kaufmann (Team Principle): “Once more we are very happy to have re-signed Louis for one more year. As Vice-Champion of Formula Renault 2.0 NEC in 2014, Louis is prepared perfectly for this year’s full double program in Formula Renault 2.0 EUROCUP and NEC. We have high expectations on Louis and hope that he can show his abilities to fight for the top results.”

Louis Deletraz: “I’m very pleased to continue my collaboration with Josef Kaufmann Racing. They are doing an amazing job and are always able to provide me a winning car. Following my Vice-Champion title and winning the Team Championship together with Kaufmann Racing in NEC 2014, I’m really looking forward to make my Formula Renault EUROCUP debut. I’m really motivated for this new challenge and I’m ready to fight for top-spots!”

The Formula Renault 2.0 EUROCUP and NEC Series 2015 will both have 7 race weekends taking place all over Europe with 2 and 3 races during each event. The NEC season opener will be at the Autodromo di Monza on the 11th and 12th of April, the EUROCUP season opener will be held at Motorland Aragon on the 25th and 26th of April.
