Stefan Bradl has made the best time on the final lap of the FP3 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Rossi was second and third Lorenzo. Marquez and Pedrosa were sixth and ninth.
The third and final free practice session started with a cloudy sky, 22 °C ambient temperature and 28° C track temperature. The first problem was from Iannone, who has been forced to stop the bike because of mechanical problems.
For more than 15 minutes nothing interesting happened on track, but Marc Marquez took the lead of the session from the beginning, second and third were Dovizioso and Iannone, who manage to be ahead of Lorenzo, Pedrosa and Rossi.
