Dorian Boccolacci has taken his maiden victory in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 during Race 2 at Monza, Italy. The Frenchman finished ahead of Max Defourny who made an incredible comeback, and Sacha Fenestraz.
Lando Norris started on pole position for this race and maintained this place at the end of first lap despite Boccolacci overtakes. Behind the top2, Harrison Scott was third just in front of Sacha Fenestraz.
The pressure that Boccolacci put under Norris made the Briton went off the track, dropping to third place, just before the crashes that we had today.
First it was a contact between Gabriel Aubry and Henrique Chaves. Then a contact between Force India youngster, Jehan Daruvala and Will Palmer caused the safety car and helped a lot to Max Defourny to comeback in fifth position.
The Luxembourg driver manages then to finish second thanks to Norris mistake again.
So Dorian Boccolacci took the victory on Race 2, just in front of Defourny and Fenestraz. Completes the points positions, Hugo de Sadeeler, Nikita Troitskiy, Robert Shwartzman, Lando Norris, Nikita Mazepin, Julien Falchero i Ferdinand Habsburg.
