Bernstorff has got an incredible victory that has been decided in the lastest laps, like the podium. The second place went to Ocon, who has been leading the most of the race and third has been Ceccon, who fought for third place with Parry until the last lap.
The start was clean, without any accident, Ghiotto‘s car has stopped at the start and couldn’t continue the race. At the first lap too, Kirchhöfer skipped the chicane, bringing the car up but without any consequence. Fuoco hasn’t had the same luck, because he has had an accident after losingthe control of his car and he hit with the fence.
At the first laps of the race had only retired four drivers (the only ones in the whole race) and these were: Janoz, Varhaug, Fuoco and Ghiotto. It also came the first and only career penalty to Bosak, for jumping the start.
The first part of the race was marked by the intense fight between Bernstorff and Kirchhöfer, fighting for the fourth place and has been Bersntorff who managed to win this duel. The first three positions in the middle of the race were to Ocon, Parry and Ceccon. The Spanish driver Palou was in ninth place.
On lap 14, Bernstorff achieved overtake Ceccon and moved up to the third position, road to the head positions. Two laps later, Morris touched Tuscher and left him with a damaged front wing, but Alex Palou took the opportunity to up to the eighth place. Bernstorff also passed Parry.
Already in the last 3 laps, the duel for win was between Ocon and Bernstorff. At the end of the straight, Bernstorff overtook Ocon, but he skipped the chicane and ceded the position to Ocon again. Behind, Parry and Ceccon fought for the third step of the podium. Bernstorff overtook Ocon and then, the first four drivers were very close together.
Last lap and Ceccon passed Parry, achieving the third place. The race ends with a victory of Bernstorff, followed by Ocon and Ceccon. Palou finished eighth.
