Marco Wittmann has been the fastest on the first practice session of DTM at Moscow Raceway, Russia. Championship leader, Mattias Ekstöm finished second as 2013 Champion, Bruno Spengler was third.

In a race of German territory, the DTM arrives for third year at Moscow Raceway with the advantage for BMW who have less ballast than Audi and Mercedes-Benz cars. This advantage has been show in the first practice session, where the Munich squad put 6 out of 8 cars on top 10.

The reigning champion, Marco Wittmann was the fastest with a 1:29.076 minutes, two tenths faster than the Audi of Ekström, who was followed by Spengler, Mortara, Farfus and Da Costa.

In this session, Antonio Giovinazzi made his debut officially in DTM on Timo Scheider’s car. The Italian finished on 23th position.

Tomorrow the DTM will held the second practice, the qualifying for race 1 and Race 1 that will start at 15.30 European Central Time.
