Sebastian Vettel has likely started Aston Martin after his first visit, as McLaren shares video of Daniel Ricciardo visiting R H U D E base.

Much like how Red Bull Racing initially kept the visit of Sergio Perez a secret, it seems like Aston Martin is doing the same with Vettel. The Mexican was at Milton Keynes last week itself but the F1 team only started sharing about his visit this week.

For Aston Martin, German broadcaster RTL reports that Vettel was at the Silverstone base earlier this week, officially starting his work with his new F1 team. This is seemingly his first visit of the year, as he gets up to speed with the engineers and mechanics.

RTL states that Vettel met technical head Andrew Green, had his seat fit and also had his first simulator session. The German, though, has since returned home to Switzerland, as he now goes through his learning virtually before the first drive and test in March.

With Perez and Carlos Sainz already visiting Ferrari, Vettel becomes the third F1 driver to have been to his new team’s headquarters, leaving Ricciardo as the lone driver yet to be at Woking. Other than them, it is not clear if Haas duo have had their first factory visit.

From Fernando Alonso side, the Spaniard had spent days at Enstone in 2020 but it looks like he is yet to do so in 2021, whereas Yuki Tsunoda noted about spending time in Japan before his long travel back to Europe to spend time with AlphaTauri in time to come.

Staying on with a new driver news, even though Ricciardo is yet to be at Woking, the Australian has already started working for his F1 team from the United States of America itself. He visited the outfit’s new partner R H U D E’s base at Los Angeles.

Last week he posted a photo with his new McLaren road car and this week, McLaren shared a video of his visit to R H U D E’s base, who are preparing a summer and winter collection for Paris Fashion Week. Here’s the video:
