Max Verstappen is in perfect conditions and after winning six consecutive races in FIA Eurpoean Formula 3 the Dutch resident in Belgium – so, local driver in this important Formula 3 event – he still gets every first place wherever he races whatever his team is. The Dutch does only have as rivals his teammates in Motopark team and Steijn Schothorst.
Despite this year Formula 3 Masters does not provide enough level with only eleven drivers and two seasons ago cars, FormulaRapida.net will keep you informed about this important event in which many important drivers as Hamilton, Magnussen, Hülkenberg or Bottas made success.
During the first free practice session Max Verstappen (Motopark) was the fastest in the session with a 1:33.492; the only one under the minute 34 seconds in which other drivers are, as Steijn Schothorst (Performance Racing) who was second followed by third classified Indy Dontje (Motopark).
Second session went on with Verstappen in front with a 1:33.214, same time as Dontje made, being second in results. Third was the last Motopark, Nabil Jeffri’s. The driver from Malaisia was in front of Steikin Schothorst, who with having a good level acquired in Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS and NEC could fight Motopark drivers, especially Verstappen.
Tomorrow will be the moment when classification is divided in two sessions 20 minutes long each one. Those will take place at 12:10 pm and 4:15 pm (CET) and will decide grid order for the last race on Sunday’s 2 pm.
