Matthieu Vaxivière and Gustav Malja were the fastest drivers in the first practice session of the Formula Renault 3.5 Series at Motorland Aragón circuit. The Lotus and the Strakka have mastered before Fortec duo and Bestike Visser.
The first practice session of the season has been very strange with several red flags.
Alfonso Celis was the first to cause a red flag as the Mexican had been stopped in Turn 1.
Meanwhile, Fortec Motorsports of Oliver Rowland and Jazeman Jaafar dominated the session.
Matthieu Vaxivière (Lotus) and Gustav Malja (Strakka Racing) also led the session for a while, before Roberto Merhi (Pons Racing) to remain stopped on the last corner.
The Swedish led the session before Bestike Visser (AVF) marked an amazing time. But Gustav Malja returned to the charge with the best time.
The checkered flag appears in the circuit before Marquis Vaxivière the best final register.
