The Belgium driver, Stoffel Vandoorne has been the fastest in the practice session of GP2 Series in Montmeló. Evans finished second followed by Alexander Rossi.

The first practice that has been held in Europe, in the Catalan track.

The session has started with a lot of changes in the lead of the standings, we also saw a lot of oversteer moments, evidencing the degradation in left tyres in this track

Vandoorne led the whole session followed by Evans, Rossi, Gasly and Berthon. Matsushita and Norman Nato had no completed any lap until the latest 15 minutes.
