The reigning champion of GP2 Series, Stoffel Vandoorne leave the European competition to join the prestigious Japanese Super Formula for this 2016 season.
The Belgian driver signed an agreement with Dandelion Racing to join the squad for this 2016 season at Super Formula.
Vandoorne had tried to join Formula 1 with McLaren but they renewed Jenson Button, which makes Vandoorne decide to join a single-seaters series, which the level is similar to Formula 1.
