After a great season in karting and with a brief baggage in single-seaters, Lorenzo Fluxá has completed a great debut at the F4 UAE, which is disputing his first races at the Dubai racetrack.

With a good classification, the Mallorcan pilot (P3) already demonstrated his clear intentions of seeking victory in the inaugural race of this UAE Formula. After a good start, the Balearic has been placed first, although with the development of the race and the wear of the tires has ceded the position before Pizzi.

Who has not had an easy start has been the poleman, Hamda Al Qubalsi, losing the first position at the start and progressively the bellows he had shown in the timed session, staying out of any option to fight for victory. The local driver, the result of a bad start, has yielded positions with Fluxa and Pizzi, great protagonists of the test.

Both teammates in the Xcel team, the majority in this championship formed by 12 drivers, have maintained a fight that has lasted most of the race and that has led them to be practically more than half of the test to be stuck, with a gap of 0.5 seconds steadily.

The technical wear of the slipstream has caused greater tire wear for Fluxa, clearly suffering in the fast cornering area where the grip was losing. The podium was completed by Marinangeli followed by Dexter Peterson. No doubt both pilots, P3 and P4 have seen how the infernal rhythm of Pizzi and Lorenzo prevented them from following their trail.

This is the first of the four races that will be held at this racetrack in Dubai, and we expect them to be as exciting as this, after the duel Pizzi and Fluxa have given us, both debutants and newcomers of karting.
