Tecnicar Motorsport Solutions, born from the Formula de Campeones, is proud to announce their upcoming participation in the Formula 4 Spanish Championship starting in 2023. This new team brings great experience and enthusiasm to the sport, with three drivers ready to compete.
Tecnicar Motorsport Solutions announces that they will join the Formula 4 Spanish Championship for the 2023 season.
The Formula de Campeones team, from the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in the Valencian Community, had the mission in 2018 to create an F-4 structure to give the chance to those drivers, from Valencia Region and their technology center (CETDM), who came from karting and wanted to make the leap to single-seaters. During the 4 years that the adventure lasted, similar structures have been created in the Valencian community, so in 2022, this project was concluded.
Tecnicar Motorsport Solutions now takes over this structure with the objective of increasing brand recognition and promoting their products through motorsport. The team will start the season at Spa-Francorchamps with three drivers to be announced soon.
Javier Lapeña will lead the team on this new adventure for the Spanish company: “Formula 4 is the perfect platform to showcase our products and services to a global audience.”
“When Formula de Campeones changed their strategy, not contuining their participation in a championship that we were a part of from the beginning, we decided to take advantage of all this experience and good track record to acquire the team, now as a private company, and thus continue with an incredible project.
“We are excited to join the Spanish Formula 4 and make our mark in the world of motorsport,” says the team principal, Javier Lapeña. “Our drivers have been training hard, and we can’t wait to show everyone what they can do.”
The 2023 season will be Tecnicar Motorsport Solutions’ first foray into the world of professional motorsport, and they plan to make a big impact this season. The team has three young drivers who have been honing their skills in preparation for this historic moment.
