Lance Stroll has been the fastest of FIA Formula 3 European championship practices sessions at Zandvoort, Holland. The Williams youngster set the fastest time on the second practice, as Russell was the fastest in the first one.

The FIA Formula 3 European championship driver today were the first to ride in the track so they had to clean it with their laps. That is why everyone improved their lap times on second practice.

George Russell (Hitech GP) set the fastest time in the first practice ahead of his compatriot, Callum Ilott (Van Amersfoort Racing). The Russian and Force India youngster, Nikita Mazepin (Hitech GP) was third, in a practice where the drivers have tested the new Virtual Safety Car system.

The championship leader, Lance Stroll (Prema Powerteam) was fourth but he managed to be the fastest in the following session.

The Williams F1 young driver was followed by another F1 young driver, Sergio Sette Camara (Motopark) from Red Bull. Maximilian Günther (Prema Powerteam) was third.
