British driver Will Stevens has been the fastest driver in the first free practice of the weekend of the Formula Renault 3.5 in Motorland Aragon, in Alcañiz.
The session was started late due to problems in the Eurocup free practice.
During the first minutes of the session has not been a clear dominance of any driver until the championship leader Carlos Sainz (Dams) has set the fastest time and was clearly dominating the session.
Fifteen minutes later the first place has changed ownership. During the last minute Will Stevens (Strakka Racing) improved the best time of William Buller (Arden Motorsport) and had time to improve his own lap yet again and with the checkered flag on the track.
