Sunday morning dawned with fog and damps on the track. The temperature was low and the conditions did not improve grip that made the driving skills were very delicate. Corrections in the sterring wheel under these conditions were constantly needed by the drivers.

Another reason, it has been raining all night so now there would be no rubber on the track as GP2 and GP3 are early so they opened the track and the conditions did not improve until well past noon. What made that an excessive desire of the pilots and the conditions made that drivers get enough mistakes and this caused punctures during the race. The driver that did not get any mistakes was Sims who took the race lead at the first corner taking advantage of the touch of the first curve between Mckee and Ellinas, Ellinas was outward curve. So Sims took the first position and he would not leave until the end being the fastest in the morning without any error.
A great start to Daly who got third from the 8th position. First positions in this moment was Sims, Mckee, Dale and Regalia
Harvey would start in the last position after the penalty imposed by the accident yesterday. The mechanics have worked since he got the car to the paddock very hard to get the car ready for Sunday, the entire rear had to be completely renovated and some places besides the front. Today early Sunday was already possible to see the team checked the car in the paddock making the car run with everything ready for the race. A huge effort by mechanical working to the last detail to get everything ready, to thank for the pilot. Meanwhile Sainz recovered to the twelfth position from the last row a good recovering to end a meeting that has been complicated to him in race 1
Harvey, in this race, would be forced to retire to have a problem with the spark plugs in his car, anyway congratulations to the team because of the intense team work after the accident
Ellinas after the touch of the first curve Mckee has been forced to retire. The British driver has been penalized with a drive through. It was a weekend of bad luck for the Cypriot.

Meanwhile Regalia finished third with another big comeback as in race 1. Good weekend for both ART and championship leaders.  Yelloly and Korjus completed the top5. Korjus despite not having good weekend has known how to get his goal and get important points for the championship
The championship is still very tight with the five drivers who can get first place and after the great performance of Dale this weekend

1.      Regalia 115

2.      Daly 101

3.      Ellinas 95

4.      Korjus 93

5.      Kvyat 88

After finishing GP2 and GP3 support races was time to gather around the paddock and take the truck to go home after a great weekend of spectacular motorsport racing races. Next stop Italy.
