The runner-up of the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC, Jackl Aitken and the runner-up of the Formula Renault 1.6 NEC Junior, Martin Rump, will be two of the three official drivers of the Fortec Motorsport team in the Formula Renault 2.0.

Jack Aitken, who has finished second in the 2013 Formula Renault 2.0 NEC championship with Fortec, now will participate in the Eurocup, the category with the highest level in Europe where more than 30 drivers per race will compete.

There also will be Martin Rump, who finished second as well, only one point behind the Dutch Roy Geerts, in the Formula Renault 1.6 NEC Junior. The Estonian gives a quality jump to the Eurocup, category which throughout the history has been pretty good for Estonian drivers, like Kevin Korjus, the 2010 champion. Fortec itself has not done it official, but the two drivers previously mentioned will be with the British team -that is what this site is informed of.

Still not learning who will be the third and leader driver of the team in the Eurocup, it is said that the chosen driver could be the champion of the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC, Matt Parry. The Welshman right now is in talks with Fortec Motorsport, but at the same time it is possible for him to go and drive for Korainen GP.
