Oliver Rowland will drive again a Formula 1 car, this time with Red Bull at Silverstone for the World Series by Renault that will take place there on the first weekend of September.


As ever year, the World Series by Renault organization give the possibility to the formula Renault 3.5 Series point’s leader at the half of the session, to test a Formula 1 car.

In the 2014, Carlos Sainz had the opportunity to test the Red Bull of 2012, and this year, Oliver Rowland will test the Red Bull of 2013 after 4 years since his debut test with McLaren.

The British driver at the moment is a member of the John Surtees young academy called, Racing Steps Foundation, who help the British drivers to step up in the motorsport life.

Rowland is battling with Matthieu Vaxivière for the championship, but driver of Fortec Motorsports will combine the Renault 3.5 whit the GP2 Series as well.
