Now we will have to live with a legend. I have been in the paddock for 39 years. I have seen a lot of things since I was 19 and it’s an honor for me to be a part of this group of drivers who have a high level. I think I am the first legend who is not a MotoGP champion. I am very excited to receive this award in Texas, with my family and friends. I hope to return this with more work as ambassador; spreading and supporting this sport.

Momola will join this excellent group of drivers who are MotoGP Legend: Giacomo Agostini, Mick Doohan, Geoff Duke, Wayne Gardner, Mike Hailwood, Daijiro Kato, Eddie Lawson, Anton Mang, Ángel Nieto, Wayne Rainey, Phil Read, Jim Redman, Kenny Roberts, Jarno Saarinen, Kevin Schwantz, Barry Sheene, Marco Simoncelli, Freddie Spencer, Casey Stoner, John Surtees, Carlo Ubbiali, Álex Crivillé, Franco Uncini, Marco Lucchinelli and the last one Nicky Hayden.
