QL. Ryan Hunter-Reay gets pole at Mid Ohio

It has been a very difficult pole position where Reay has been the fastest followed by Power and Dixon the drivers who has been the fastest during the whole weekend. Top 6 is completed by Andretti, Kimball and Franchitti.

The first group was very difficult because most fastest drivers was on it. So drivers as Newgarden or Filippi were eliminated. Franchitti, Kimball, Dixon, De Silvestro, Wilson and Viso get qualified for the next round.
The second group was the suprising Filippi with a good performance in free practice but he could not ge the next session because he was off the track. A red flag appeared in that time giving so few time to drive a good lap. Reay, Pagenaud, Power, Vautier, Andretti and Jakes got the qualification for the next round.

In top 12 the favourite drivers has been the fastest Power, Reay, Andretti, Dixon, Franchitti and Kimball that were classified for top 6. These drivers were fighting for pole position who was won by Reay, followed by Power, Dixon, Andretti, Kimball and Franchitti

Tomorrow is expected to be a dry race where the close fight for the championship has just begun
