After Buemi this morning, another eDams leads the way through FP2 as Nicolas Prost sets the fastest time in Punta Del Este with a 1:15:4.

Session starts quietly as Jérôme D’Ambrosio is the first to get on track and set a reference time in 1:18. Just five minutes in the session, morning leader Buemi hits the wall and forces Senna to use the escape way. This incident does not interrupt the session but forces Buemi to stay in the pits for a moment, letting Bird and Da Costa topping the time sheets.

Not a lot of change is to be noted during that very quiet session, way more quite than the first one this morning. While Da Costa and Sarrazin are the fastest, Daniel Abt roughly hits the wall and destroys his rear wing. The session is red flagged to take the debris off the track.

The session resumes with seven minutes left on the clock for race simulations and Nicolas Prost is the one setting the fastest time in front of Di Grassi and Buemi. They are followed by D’Ambrosio, Frijns, Da Costa, Sarrazin, Duval, Bird and Turvey for the top 10.

Qualifying session takes place at 16:00 CET with Vergne Piquet Turvey and Berthon in the first group, D’Ambrosio Prost Frijns Bird and Di Grassi in the second one, Abt Da Costa Sarrazin Duval and Rowland in the third one and finally Senna Buemi Villeneuve and De Silvestro in the last one.
