It seems to be a holder of yesteryear but the successors of so mythical drivers have been the leaders both FP1 and FP2

Monte Carlo is the chosen to host the fifth round of the Formula E championship. Technology and modernity of the cars is faced with a mythical and historical circuit as is the circuit of Monaco. This time, but with a new variant that decreases the distance and shortens the length, leaving it like the last sector of a GP of F1.

Started the FP1 with the countdown for those 40 minutes of free training session. Sunny weather in the ePrix of Monaco and the cars were beginning to exit the pits. The team Virgin Racing Formula leaded the classification with Sam Bird and Jaime Alguersuari followed by Nelson Piquet Jr of Nextev TCR Formula E Team.

The temperature of the track was going up and the times were falling. Many positions changes with the drivers in the first minuts of the free practice. Was passing the time of the meeting and were consolidating their positions with Sebastian Buemi in the lead of the Team e.dams Renault, followed by Charles Pic and Jaime Alguersuari.

Nicolas Prost making the best time of the meeting. Ended the session with the Team e.dams Renault leading the FP1. Prost making the best time with a 54,171 followed by Sebastian Buemi with a 54,286 and third place Charles Pic to 1.3 seconds of the best time.

At 10:30h started the second free practice. With the sky a little more cloudy and road conditions a little better.

Alguersuari (Virgin) was the pace of the meeting with a best lap of 53.8 followed by Vergne (Andreti) and Piquet Jr. (Nextev). 10 minutes to end the session the red flag goes out and kept the meeting because of a pole of security within the track. Something that was fixed in just 2 minutes.

Bruno Senna finally mark the best time with a 53.7 followed by Jaime Alguersuari with a 53.8 and Da Costa with a 54.0
