Felix Rosenqvist will join Prema Powerteam for the 2015 FIA Formula 3 European Championship. The 23-year-old Swede will be driving one of the Team’s Dallara-Mercedes racecars alongside the already-announced Jake Dennis, Brandon Maisano and Lance Stroll.

Rosenqvist is one of the most experienced and successful racers of the international Formula 3 panorama, having won the Zandvoort Masters twice in 2011 and 2013 before cruising to victory in last year’s Macau Grand Prix. Between 2011 and 2014, he also captured 16 wins and 8 pole positions in the European series.

René Rosin – Team Manager

“Being able to rely on Rosenqvist for the 2015 del FIA Formula 3 European Championship is a great honor for me. There is something symbolic in all of this. In the last four years, this quick yet friendly young man has been one of our toughest and most fierce rivals, all the time. And yet, finally, we can have him on one of our racecars! Needless to say, for all our drivers and team staff, including the management, the engineers and the mechanics, his experience will be a priceless benchmark in the chase for our fifth straight title in the series”.

“I am highly excited about what I view as a new phase of my career. Prema have been the undisputed pace setters in F3 for as long as I’ve been around. They have won every title since 2011, and now having visited their facilities in Italy I really understand why. They are operating at their own level, and I am thrilled to join them at a time when the FIA Formula 3 European Championship is arguably stronger than ever before. The European Championship title is the one thing I’ve got left to win in Formula 3, so I head in to this season with a very clear target.”
