Andrea Pizzitola set the fastest time in the second qualifying session of the Formula Renault 2.0. Jörg will be his row partner while Bonifacio and De Vries will start behind them.
He did not get great results in classification yesterday, then was disqualified and had to start from the last position. During the race, despite a masterful driving had to retire. But that could not be repeated today. Andrea Pizzitola woke up today with the pretension to fix yesterday’s day and he is about to do it. He got the pole position.
The wind has risen strongly in Alcañiz this morning, and that affects badly to the traction, specially on higher turns, in sector 2.
Jörg has done the best time in group B, three tenths slower than the group followed A, and followed by De Vries. The wind did not help him at all, and despite leaving with new tires for a quick last lap, he was seven tenths slower than his pole time. Bonifacio set the second best time in Group A and will start third.
