Arrow McLaren SP has unveiled its 2020 IndyCar livery fitted with the aeroscreen as they infuse black into the papaya orange.
Officially kicking off a new era for the Arrow Mclaren SP IndyCar team, or as it was formerly known, Arrow Schmidt Peterson, the Anglo-American team have unveiled their 2020 car and its striking new livery via Youtube live stream.
The car’s livery – which looks likely to serve as their standard one for the season – mixes both the Arrow side of the team, who have traditionally sported a black and gold look, and the McLaren side with a black, papaya orange, and blue mixture on the car.
Automation Anywhere – a partner they announced on Thursday – has their logo visible on the front wing, as well as other regions of the car. Partners and sponsors like Chevrolet, Arrow, Cypress, Vuse and Lucas oil can also be spotted, alongside several other companies.
Driving the Arrow McLaren will be a completely new line-up with Patricio O’Ward in the #5 and rookie Oliver Askew in the #7. No part-time drivers or special entrants for Indy500 have been announced as of now, with Sam Schmidt and Rick Peterson heading the team.
