The Lotus F1 Junior Team driver, Esteban Ocon wins the Second race of the FIA F3 European Championship in Silverstone after starts from pole and led all the race, getting a good gap with Latifi and Fuoco who finished, second and third respectively. The Frenchman now is the championship leader.

The start was so good for the Prema’s with Ocon who took the first followed by Latifi and Fuoco, the Race 1 winner, Tom Blomqvist (Jagonya Ayam with Carlin) lost his third position and downs to P4. Soon, Ocon increased the gap with his teammates and leads in a good way the field.

After three laps, Roy Nissany (kfteile24 Müke Motorsport) crashes with “Spike” Goddard and made the first retirement of the race for the driver of Threebond with T-Sport. Finally the Israeli driver gives a drive through penalty by the stewards, like Agostini (Eurointernational), Beretta (Eurointernational) and Szymkowiak (Van Amersfoort Racing).

With 10 laps to go, Jordan King (Carlin) started to attack his compatriot Blomqvist in the battle for the fourth place. Verstappen (Van Amersfoort Racing) also got in the battle.

With 2 laps to go, Serrallés (Team West-Tec F3) pushed his team mate Hurst off the track. Meanwhile, Verstappen overtook King and up’s to fifth place.

Finally, Esteban Ocon wins his first ever race in FIA Formula Three European Championship with his teammates at podium: Latifi and Fuoco.
