Lando Norris has been the fastest in the practice of FIA ??Formula 3 European Championship at the circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium. The youngster of McLaren has led the two sessions that have been played on wet track.

In the first practice session Lando Norris (Carin) has not moved from the first position. McLaren F1 junior driver who will have the opportunity to make a test with the Formula 1 team knows that this weekend is key for the Championship run.

The Briton has been the fastest in the first session, and also in the second, despite having completed only 2 laps, enough to drive in the ideal dry line.

The time he has set, 2:28.709 has been 8 tenths quicker than his teammate, Jehan Daruvala, and a second better than Ferdinand Habsburg (Carlin) completing, a one-two-three for Carlin.

They have been followed by the Prema Powerteam of Maximilain Günther – leader of the championship, and Mick Schmacher.

After this early free practice, the Formula 3 drivers face a very busy day with the classification 1 and 2 this noon and afternoon.
